Diabetes Awareness Course: Level 3

Diabetes awareness course for hypnotherapists. Hypnotherapy is fast becoming a great help to people with Type 2 diabetes in particular.

The patient walks away from the doctor’s office with a number of feelings having just been told they have Type 2 diabetes. They usually feel: anxiety, confusion, anger, denial, despair and anger. They are part of a largely preventable epidemic.

How can the hypnotherapist assist a person with diabetes?

The first thing is have a good knowledge of the problems and challenges facing this person. Which you can get from this Diabetes Awareness course.

Then we help to change their emotions and behaviours toward their diet. This will greatly increase the client’s chances of more managing and better still eradicating their condition.

Diabetes is a condition it is not a disease. A condition is controllable but a disease is very different. This is brilliant as the person with diabetes has a choice. take control back from diabetes or get worse. The hypnotherapist is there to help the diabetic client to take control over their condition.

Here is an interesting fact: approximately 90% of all persons with diabetes are overweight.  Many are obese. Obesity is preventable. It is now a clinically proven fact that if a someone reduces their weight to healthy levels the diabetes disappears as the weight goes down.
