Clinical Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy Courses

At the Cressingham Institute of Clinical Hypnosis we offer four levels of qualifications for Clinical Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy;

Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner (& Psychotherapy), Post Graduate Higher Diploma and Senior Practitioner.

The Foundation and Advanced Practitioner training courses are now taught as one. This is due to the fact that around 95% of people who studied the Foundation course also completed the Advanced level.

The Advanced Practitioner of Clinical Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy Course is the equivalent of the NVQ Level 4 Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma and more than fulfils the criteria of National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Hypnotherapy published in 2002 by Skills for Health, the Government's Sector Skills Council for the UK health industry.

There is an up-graded version of this course that includes 10 modules of Psychotherapy in addition to the normal course. This is our Practitioner of Advanced Clinical Hypnosis & Psychotherapy. It allows you to gain a greater depth of knowledge around the psychological aspects of the profession. Many people start on the standard Advanced course but upgrade to this at a later stage.
